Iso Flavones?

I don't know where else to post this, so I guess here is as good as anywhere. =0) Today I am on CD 9 (or CD 7, depending on how I look at my cycles).

A friend of mine recently told me about Soy Isoflavones, so I did a little research, and asked her some more questions about it. It is supposed to be just like Clomid, only you don't have to have a prescription for it. I decided that I would try that this cycle, and see if it helps at all. I am taking 80mg before bed time (they say you'll have less side effects that way), which is equivalent to 50mg of Clomid.

There is one article I read that about a poll asking women who took it, if they got pregnant and what cycle using it they got pregnant. Copy of this article can be found here: http://fertility-challenged.blogspot.com/2008/07/soy-isoflavones-natural-clomid.html

But I guess my question is, has anyone else tried using the Soy Isoflavones? Has it worked? Or do you know someone who's used it, and it's worked for them? I'm really hoping for a BFP for hubby and I! We've been actively trying for about 15 months. (Not preventing for the 5 months prior to that.) Hoping it'll be this month!
