So Long Period Stains
Who hasn't had a period stain or two along the way? From undies to fav jeans, period stains can be a royal pain. But happily they're often non-fatal and can be mostly/completley removed.

What period stain removal strategies have you tried and what works best for you?

The old fashion way!

Well. I usually don't soak through my clothing. But I generally wear only white cotton panties when I am on my period. So, if I do mess them up. I can easily apply some bleach. So what I do is this. If it's a little leak, I don't do anything. Just put them in a pail. If it's big soak through well I wash them out by hand. But at the end of my period. I soak all of them in the pail with some bleach and detergent. Then I hand clean them one by one to remove the stain. But, then I put them in the washer. Works like a charm. It's just a timely process. All my whites dont have any stains in them. But, also, I wear the Maxi pads with the wings. This helps with the leakage. Oh, I told my sister this story and she said to use peroxide because it oxidizes the stain by bubbling it up and lifting the color. I havent tried it! But she states my grandmother told her and it works.
