Conception Frustrations II?
If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

confused and sad:(

Hi Ladies sorry it is so long have to vent:

I went to see my fertility Dr. on Thursday March 17th for my HSG test (everything came back normal). He had told me to baby dance on the 12th day of my cycle and to continue for the next 5 days, b/c he assumed I was going to Ovulate either Sunday, March 20th or Monday March 21st (yesterday).

I started doing my OPK testing on the 13th day of my cycle (Friday March 18th) and up until today still no positive LH surge. My Dr. said that not all the time do these tests pick your ovulation, but it says on the package they are 99% accurate hmmm...

My husband and I have a test scheduled for this Friday (which will be day 20 of my cycle) to have blood work done and he is having a semen analysis (sorry if I spelled wrong).

My concern is if and fact I ovulate either tomorrow or Thursday, by then it will be too late to baby dance. The semen analysis requires that a man doesn't do anything for 3 days prior to the test (so tonight will be our last chance unless Dr. cancels our tests).

I sent my Dr. an email explaining my concern and what we should do. I am afraid that all those days we baby danced isn't going to work.

In the past we have never baby danced on the day of ovulation, just b/c something was always going on that we couldn't. So we only would baby dance a few days or day before. I know sperm lasts up to 72 hours, so all that time I still was hopeful, but no such luck.

My Dr. mentioned possibly putting me on Clomid to help me ovulate on time each month. I am hoping he does, so I don't have to be off wack every cycle.

anyone have similar situation or advice?
