Conception Frustrations II?
If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

Private IVF treatment

Hi,

Had NHS appointment to get put on IVF waiting list and we said we wanted to try privately as list will be a further 2 1/2 years. Just received letter for us to go to appointment mid July for consultation and says we must pay �3500 up front if we decide to go for it privately. Does anyone know how quickly the process woud start after the initial consultation. Was a bit taken aback that we would have to pay so quickly (Bit naive of me maybe) I am in Scotland any advice would be greatly appreciated.
