Are you trying to conceive after one or more miscarriages? How long did you (or will you) wait until TTC again? I am 30 yrs old and have miscarried for the first time on May 3 2011. I have two children ages 10 and 12. I have waited for my first cycle(per my doctors advice) and am now TTC again. I had a D&C done because of a missed miscarriage, which means the baby died but the body fails to reconize this and continues with the pregnancy. I was 9 wks but the baby measured 8wks 2 days. I got my period on June 6 2011. It took me three months to get pregnant with this baby. One thing that I learned TTC is that if you relax and let nature take its course you will get pregnant faster. I had a fertility monitor, charted, took fertibella, and I gave up on all this and I found out I was pregnant the next month! Don't give up! Relax. Its ok to cry, and think why me? Something I found helpful in grieving for my baby was a memorial book. It was a way of remembering the baby, the happy times(even though it was a short pregnancy) a place for a letter to the baby, and much more. Its called In the company of Angels, and I got it at Remembering Our Babies.com. Trying again is scarey but with support from my husband, doctor, and friends and family I'll make it through. Is it easy to get pregnant after a M/C D&C? How long does it take?
