Hi ladies,
I was taking a break from these boards for a while just to get my head together. To update you on everything here goes:
I have done a total of 2 rounds of Clomid. The first month on Clomid I was working with a Dr. who had no clue what he was doing and messed up my cycle. When AF arrived I left that practice and moved over to IVF NJ, which I heard great things about. The new Dr. increased my dosage of Clomid (100mg), had me do the Ovidrel shot along with an IUI (Monday, June 10th).
I was just coming home from vacation, when my AF arrived on Thursday, June 23rd. I went back to the Dr. for blood work and ultrasound That next day to see when we should start the next round of Clomid, but I got a call back that day saying my levels were too high(200) and I have 2 left over mature follicles in my right ovary from the previous cycle.
Naturally I was confused and didn't know what was going on, but Dr. said to start OPK testing on day 3 of my cycle(Saturday, June 25th) b/c I may ovulate a week early this month.
Well on Day 5(Monday, June 27th) of my cycle I got the positive LH surge. We only baby danced the day before the surge and that Wed
(June 29th), so who knows if that was enough to make it work, but my blood work showed that I did ovulate.
My Dr. told me that if AF doesn't arrive by Tuesday, July 12th, that I will be brought in for a pregnancy test. So far the only sign of AF coming is cramps. I don't want to get my hopes up b/c last month my cycle was so out of sorts. If AF DOESN'T show up Tuesday I will go for the test , but not get excited until I have reason to be. If AF DOES show up then we move on to our last round of Clomid, Ovidrel and IUI.
How is everyone else feeling? I wish us all lots of baby dust and I am happy to be back on the boards.
