While I am not TTC at the moment..I think some of you may like to hear my story. I am 38 yrs. old and honestly did not believe w/o medical intervention (which of I cannot afford)I would be able to concieve. I have never even used any form of protection--because I just knew it would never happen. Needless to say about 4 years ago I met the love of my life...and last year decided to look into all I could to increase my chances if at all possible, better late than never. Figuring it would not work I still changed a couple of things--and here I am 28 weeks pregnant! So, I am here to tell you what I did (minor things) in that it will help some of you too! First, I have been taking regular Centrum vitamins for a couple of years--but about a year ago (and remember I am about 6 mths pregnant now---which means I only had to do this 6 months!) I added a 800 mcg of Folic acid supplement and a female complex (with the dong quai, chasteberry, etc.--to regulate a womens cycle, even though I have always been pretty regular I have heard these help in trying to become pregnant) The only other changes I made was to drink more water and stay away from alcohol completely...
I hope this helps...it did for me--and I never thought it was possible!!!
