When Did You Decide Baby Names?
At what point did you select the name that you actually gave your baby? Before you were pregnant, during pregnancy, after delivery?

When Did You Decide Baby Names?
Need help with a middle name!
My husband and I are expecting our 3rd baby in a few months! We had no problem coming up with our first 2 daughters names but this time around I'm having trouble falling in love with another girl name. We're not positive it's a girl this time but its my gut feeling we are! I'm starting to fall in love with the name Everly. It goes well with my daughters names Isabelle and Olivia. But I need help with a middle name? I'm hoping with the right middle name it will make my mind up and be perfect!

When Did You Decide Baby Names?
Within two months of meeting
When my now-husband and I were dating... actually, within the first two months we knew each other (started dating two weeks after we met) we had picked out two girls' names and two boys' names. We still talk about our future children using two of those names - we are hoping for a boy and a girl, so for example we'll see a father playing catch with his son in the park and I'll say, "That's going to be you and Charlotte some day."

When Did You Decide Baby Names?
8 Names
In August 2004, I began dating my now husband in college. Not even 6 months later we began talking baby names. We made a list of 8 name. Four first and middle names for girls, and four first and middle names for boys. We were married in May 2010, but don't want to start trying for children until next year. We still like those 8 names we picked out and plan to use at leat 6 of the 8.

When Did You Decide Baby Names?
Arguing over names
After we found out we were having a boy (which I would've sworn up and down was going to be my little princess) my husband and I fought about the boy name until I was around 8 months. I liked Ryder at the time and he (god help him lol) wanted to name our son Rowdy. I told him no up front about Rowdy because I felt like the name would taint him for life. Then one day out've the blue he came up with the name Canden and called me. I didn't love it at first but was finished arguing about it, plus I figured i'd get my way after he saw me go through labor. Well it stuck and Canden is now 4. I LOVE his name. It fits him so well. Its different too, since it was made up. We gave him a nice and normal middle name incase he gets sick of people misspronouncing his first name which happens a lot. They miss the n usually and mistake it for caden or camden. Ooh well. It works for us. Thank goodness after all the arguing over names with Canden we already have a boy and girls name set for the next bundle of joy God willing. Good luck to everyone ttc!
