Could I be pregnant?

I wish to be pregnant and have a healthy child of my own. I am one day late now and just took an Answer Early Pregnacy test yesterday and it was negative. I'm bummed out. How accurate are these tests? Should I assume that I'm not pregnant even though I don't see a period?

Hi everyone...
My husband and I have had many long discussions on having children... and I *think* this might actually happen.

Here's the scenario:
9/18/08 - last pill period
10/2508 - last real period (a week late, I wasn't worried as I just stopped taking BC)
Due 11/22-11/24... no period.

I have had cramping since 11/28 (mild and intermittent) but no signs of spotting. I have also had tender breasts and unable to cope with anything without crying. I was blaming this on my period coming, but now that it's Dec. 3rd... I just don't know.

Due to the urging of my coworkers I took a test today which presented with a faint pink line within the 3 minute time frame (Accu-Clear). I will be testing again in the AM just to see what happens -
has anyone been in this type of situation (stopping BC, cramping, sore breasts, moodiness, faint pos. line) and not be pregnant?

Any input is appreciated!

Period is 6 days late. I have a crazy cycle. Not sure if I should test soon or not. What do you all think? Period comes every month but usually fluctuates by 2-3 days.
I don't want to tell the boyfriend that I think I may be pregnant until I know I can take a test and it will be accurate. Does that make sense? Please help.

My husband and I were told last summer that he 'cannot concieve' and was sent for further testing. We finally got to see the specialist recently. My last p was Oct 25th. I am now 8 days overdue and took a preg test last week two days after my expected period that came out neg. (note it was a test from the dollar costing you guessed it 1$)I dont know what to think right now, still no period and I am usually very regular. I dont want to get my hopes up espically with the test being neg. But its so hard! We have been trying for 18 months now. I am aching and feel so tired and heavy! Any advice out there? BTW what is the two week wait?

Well, my last period was on October 26. It seemed shorter than usual. I have my tubes clamped (since in 2004 I had gotten a divorce and thought I was done). I have since remarried and now want a baby. Maybe wishful thinking, but I am 5 days late and have taken about 4 HPT and gotten a BFN! I get really nauseous with different smells. I also have been super emotional lately.I usually get the typical PMS moodiness and cramping..but this is weird. I am hungry alot, but certain foods don't sit with me well. I typically don't get heartburn much..i have had it almost daily! My breasts are typically tender about a week before i am going to start, but lately they have been feeling just tingly, sometimes it feels like they did when nursing (letdown). It could be that I am just wanting a baby so bad that it's in my head, or did i really get lucky and my wish may be coming tru? Has anyone experienced a pregnancy after having your tubes tied/clamped??? I am really anxious to know!

I could understand what you are going thru. I was late a whole week and bam AF came. I didn't have my period for very long. 3 days. it's usually, 4 days. I thought I was Preggo. We have been ttc for 8 mons but no luck. I have a 15 month old son. So if it happens great, but I'm not stressing about it. It will happend when the time is right. I guess my cycle was just changing. Who knows. Just have fun. That's what we are doing. :)
