At what point did you select the name that you actually gave your baby? Before you were pregnant, during pregnancy, after delivery?

When I got pregnant with my son {Alexander Winter} we didn't find out what we were having. But I said I think it is a boy and he has to be named Alexander and my husband wanted to name him Winter. So right away a month into being pregnant we had a boys name. but it took us 6 months to get a girls name we had a list of about 20 girls names which i turned into first and middle . We finally came down to Autum Lilith or Layla Rain. we chose Layla. which we are still using if we ever have a girl. but for us it was natural to just do it right away so we had something to call my belly. but I have friends that still didn't name their baby until it was 4 days old.

When to choose names
I have picked out several names for my future children. I chose the name of my first child (Trinity Elektra) when I started trying to get pregnant. Unfortunately, the pregnancy only last 8 weeks. I haven't completely chosen all the names, because I think it is good to involve the father too. I have just chosen several names that I like. I think it is good to think of names ahead of time, so that you have plenty of time, if you change your mind. You have to remember that the name you choose will stick with your child for all of his or her life, and you will be saying it A LOT.

I had my son's name picked out before I even got pregnant. But while I was pregnant I went through beby books to see if there was maybe a better one, but the first time I saw him I knew he was a Jayden.
I'm trying to get pregnant right now and if it's a boy I alredy have that one planned out but I'm not sure yet if it's a girl for some reason girl names are harder for me

When Did You Decide Baby Names?
Boy's name Gian
During the time that i was pregnant, i always read baby name books. Then i normally wrote down names that i like both for a boy and a girl. By the time that i have to give birth, i've seen how God is so gracious to me by giving me my son...i've checked for the name that has a meaning of God's gracious and i found out that name is GIAN. So i named my son Gian. Ü

When I decided to start thinking of baby names
I have always loved to start naming as soon as I find out I am pregnant whether I know if its a boy or a girl. for me that is the fun part of being pregnant!!!

during pregancy once you know the sex! I named my son, right after i found out he was a boy!! So exciting!!
