When do you take a pregnancy test?

At what point during your cycle do you take a pregnancy test? If you are trying to conceive do you wait the Two Week Wait, or do you start testing earlier? Or, if you're not trying to conceive, how late are you when you start testing?

When do you take a pregnancy test?

Wasn't TTC, but now optimistic.

I am not TTC but I am six days late!!!! I took a test at 2 days late and another at 4 days late; both negative. I have no idea whats going on. I'm kind of hoping for a BFP now.....:)

When do you take a pregnancy test?

Afraid of BFN

I try to test after AF is late but it's hard, the only reason I don't test daily is because Im afraid of a BFN.That one line can really burst your bubble. AF comes the day after I take a HPT it never fails. As soon as AF shows up to my door wearing her red dress I have to fight back the tears. My DH tries to understand but we all know that if a man had to go through this he would have a hard time deciding between AF and pushing out a baby.(A man will never understand)

When do you take a pregnancy test?

It's hard to wait, but right now I am making myself

Right now I am actually trying to be good. For a while when I really was TTC (right now I am not really trying, but not preventing either) so I am not as obsessed about it. I had to take a step back because I was getting out of control with it. I would test everyday in the 2ww, and sometimes twice in a day because I still didn't believe it. All BFN's of course. Now I am thinking that it is possible that this month was my month, I am on cycle day 29 with 38 day average cycle. So I still have until the 17th till I am supposed to get my period. I actually bought a test at the dollar store last night, but I am making myself hold off on using it. I did have the doctor run a test a week from monday because I had a bladder infection and my mom has told me that she has started her pregnancy's with bladder infections. That test was neg.

This month I am feeling like there are little signs, like my left breast was really tender and sore, the bladder infection, and some nausea. So I am keeping my fingers crossed (in my mind at least).

When do you take a pregnancy test?

What CD do you test?

LOL...I take my tests starting at about 7 DPO, even though I know that I am going to get a BFN!! I have what is called,POASS (peeing on a stick syndrome) alot of woman TTC also suffer from this. My Gyn says to wait until at least 13 DPO.I think I took roughly 10 tests this month:) Someday I will learn or run out of money...LOL
