When do you take a pregnancy test?
At what point during your cycle do you take a pregnancy test? If you are trying to conceive do you wait the Two Week Wait, or do you start testing earlier? Or, if you're not trying to conceive, how late are you when you start testing?

I RUSH to the store when I'm a day late, or have any symptoms... I'm pretty much addicted to HPT's

My fiance' and I have been trying to concieve for close to a year now. My period is irregular and I tend to forget that so every month I feel like Im late.. like we finally succeeded and of course.. here it comes. I always test a week after, which is too early most of the time, but I continue for the following week because I hope that it was a false negative.

Waiting and waiting
I don't know what 'late' even means anymore. I am 26-35 days for my menstrual cycle, and every month I think it's 'late', it just turns out AF is getting later and later. We've been trying to conceive for almost two years, and right now I'm on D37. I don't want to test; I'm just trying to stay calm and prepare myself to not be devastated if it comes on D40 or D41...but it is truly driving me crazy. Every day that ticks by is a big 'what if?...' But DH and I decided we won't test till after D40 or 41 - and when we do, we'll just go directly to our doctor so we know for sure what's what. Because if it's negative and I still haven't had it, I want to know what on earth is going on!

Impatient
My husband and I have been TTC for a year. At first, I was so excited that I poas early and wasted tests. After a few months I held out as I was a bit less gung ho. Now, I have to confess I'm back to poas early because I get so wound up during the TWW. I want to either know or put myself out of the misery. Doesn't help to do it early tho. Still have residual thoughts that it might have been false negative. Hate TWW. Getting quite down.

Time
At least 2 weeks late.That way you lessen the chance of a false negative.

I can't wait to test - lol
I can't wait - I KNOW that it won't show a + but I took one today (CD19!) LOL I typically try for "real" 4 days before AF is due.
