Worst Aunt Flo Show Time

Actually, this was like, 2 months ago. My now ex boyfriend and I live in two different states so obvoiusly there's an extended time in between when we got to see each other. Well, it had been a little over a month and I was going to fly to Louisiana for the weekend to see him and meet his family. I was SO excited, but a little nervous seeing as how my period hadn't started yet...it was about 3 days late. Well, the day before I'm scheduled to fly out I still hadn't started...well, I got everything packed and went out with my friends that night. I was out at the bar (Not drinking...I was afraid I was pregnant) when I felt something...I went to the bathroom and there it was...the DAY before I was to see my boyfriend...sure put a damper on our weekend!

I think the worst time was last year when I got married. My period was late but every hpt i took was negative. Two days before I went to the dr and he assured me everything would be okay and that after things settled down after the wedding my period would appear. Sure enough it appeared...Two hours before I walked down the aisle. Talk about putting a damper on my honeymoon...lol

I always manage to get my period on a vacation. It has never failed.... vacation and aunt flo apparently go hand in hand....

The worst time it showed up was my first time. I was 11 years old and it was the summer between 5th and 6th grade. I was spending the week my Dad and brother camping (it as a seasonal campground). For some odd reason my older sister (half sister - 10 years older) came to visit for the day. The reason it was odd was because she was usually working and never came with her boyfriend (now husband). She even said "I don't know why I came today...?. I went inside to change into pants and had a HUGE surprise in the bathroom. I was shocked! I knew exactly what it was but freaked because the first time is stressful. Plus, who wants to have their first time with only their Dad around! After using some TP to soak some of it up I went to lay down trying to figure out what to do. My Dad came in and asked me what was wrong and I answered with nothing. He wouldn't stop bugging me so I finally answered with "it's a girl thing...?. His reaction was, "oh, well what is...OH!! Oh boy! HEATHER!!!? He yelled for my sister who had just gotten there a few minuets before while I was inside. I didn't even know she was there. Well, she saved the day and gave me one of her pads then took me to the store. Then I called my Mom to tell her about my CRAZY day.
Try going trough the last year of elementary school with your period. Not fun!
Well, 8 years later that seems like forever ago. I have to say though, I have been pretty lucky since about AF not showing up at really bad times *knock on wood*. LOL.

The day before a 12-mile-hike second date with the cutest guy! (With no toilets--if you take it in, you have to take it out). And the second day is ALWAYS the heaviest. Luckily, I doubled up protection, and took a sweatshirt just in case I needed a wrap around. But if didn't leak, and he still liked me.

Several weeks later, he found out WHY I was popping the ibuprofen that day, and we have a good laugh about it. It was very ironic when AF showed up on our wedding night, too.

When I was traveling with my In-Laws during my hubby's deployment. We were going up north so I could meet my Father-in-law's family. We stayed at his sister's house...and there was NO TRASH can in the bathroom!!! I was embarrassed for anybody to know...so I got a plastic bag in my room and waited until everybody went to sleep...snuck out into the kitch and threw it all away!!! OMG it sucked!!!
