TTC - To Say or Say Not?
While Trying to Conceive, have you found others (even people you barely know) asking prying questions or offering unsolicited advice? Do you think they mean well and just don't think, or are they being meddling and/or on the rude side? Do you respond, ignore it, brew over it all night...?

TTC - To Say or Say Not?
torn
My husband and I have been trying for seven months, my 2 best friends have been trying one for 4 years, the other 1 month and pregnant already. So I am a little hesitant to say a lot b/c one I feel for and the other jealous of( lol) b/c she is already. We have one child already and had 1 m/c so a little hesitant to tell anyone when we do get pregnant at first. I do want to talk about ttc but don't need the pressure from family and friends asking all the time
Last month was disappointed after period was 2 days late. Trying not to get my hopes up this month but havn't started yet, 2 days late again. Best of luck to all who are ttc.

TTC - To Say or Say Not?
Shhhh....
My husband and I have told no one because we want it to be our decision and if times goes on, we don't want people to cause added pressure by asking questions. Both of our families will be supportive when they find out...but everyone is very independent and would feel weird if they knew we were trying. Also, both of us have careers, and talking about it at work would not be cool. It could actually damage my promotional/project opportunities. So, we will tell people probably after the third month. We just started TTC so I am not sure in 12 months or so, if I am not pregnant how I will feel about telling others.

TTC - To Say or Say Not?
Only the closest.
We're not really saying. I told my best friend, because I know she won't bug me about it, since she knows about our fertility issues and things, and our roomie knows because he's our roomie, but he doesn't want to think about us doing the deed, so he doesn't ask and we don't say. XD Telling our families (especially his) would only add pressure, and pressure isn't good when you're TTC.

TTC - To Say or Say Not?
Butt out
My husband and I are currently ttc and may actually already be pregnant ( 2 more days until my missed period). We actually decided not to tell anyone b/c this will be my 3rd child and with the economy and the stockmarket in their current conditions we did not want any unwanted advice. Our family has a tendency to butt in and say things like "are you sure you can AFFORD another baby?" It's a lot of unnecessary stress on us when we are comfortable in our decision.

TTC - To Say or Say Not?
getting that "baby vibe"
we have been TTC for the past few months but have been hindered by an emergency surgery and school starting (we're both teach). This is the first month of actually TTC. We have told several people and as of right now everyone is very supportive and excited for us. It does get frustrating when we have no news and people ask frequently. I was around a lot of babies this past weekend and some of my friends tried to get me to have the "baby vibe" by holding babies, seeing every single one, even rubbing them on me.. ok NOT REALLY but it did make me laugh! It's nice to be supported like we are right now.
While we have told others we are TTC we are going to wait the until after the first semester (once we conceive) to break the conception news to all. We are having fun right now doing some planning and keeping our fingers crossed. We will now in a few weeks if we go on on to the doctor (+) or back to the bedroom (-). Best wishes to all the mommies to be out there!!!
