TTC After Birth Control
Did you recently -- or some time ago -- come off birth control to TTC? What birth control were you using? Have your periods/cycles returned to your normal? Are you waiting a few months, or trying right away?

TTC After Birth Control
Everything seems normal so why aren't I preggo???
Hi,
I am new to this but hoping for some advice/encouragement. I came off the pill 6-7 months ago and have been diligently TTC ever since. I had been on it for over 10 years. I got a normal period the first month of being off the pill and I have continued to have normal periods with a cycle of 28-31 days. I have had a positive OPK every month, and I've just begun charting my BBT. Seems normal even though I am a slow riser. So why aren't I pregnant yet? I'm young and since everything seems normal I feel like this should be easy, but it's getting frustrating. My mom had fertility problems and I'm so worried I'm going to end up following in her footsteps. I'd appreciate any feedback or if people could share their experiences that would be great. Also, how long should I wait before seeing a doc?
One more thing....I had a LEEP about 5ish years ago. Could this be part of my problem???

TTC After Birth Control
TTC after Depo
Hi, I'm new to this forum. I was on depo shot for 3 years and I took my last shot in January 2010. I decided that it was time for me to stop using the depo so I did not go back for my shot that was due at the end of March, because my husband and I wanted to try to conceive. Plus I had totally lost my sex drive well on the shot.
I finally got my first period July 20th that last for 6 days. Then it came back on July 27th and lasted until August 3rd. For the past week I have been feeling mild cramps, dull back pains, nausea, and very tired. I tested (even though I figured that I was not pregnant and that it would be too early too tell) and of course it was negative. My doctor told me that it can take a long time to conceive after the depo about 6-18 months. I have not gotten another period yet nor do I know if I will get another one since I had two back to back.
Has this happened to anyone before? And is there even a slight chance that I might be pregnant?

TTC After Birth Control
Off BC (Depo) & underactive thyroid TTC
I've been on bc since 1995. Depo shot for about 4 years and stopped June '09, then onto the pill till January'10 and we've been TTC since with no joy. My periods are very irregular, but things are improving as the months go by. I also have a underactive thyroid that is being treated. I would love to hear from anyone out there who has a similar story that has concieved and how long it took. I guess things have changed since I turned 30 and I'm frustrated that I've spent my entire life trying to prevent, and then when I want it, nothing happens! I know I'm not the only person who feels like that!
