Feminine Protection Usage
What was the first type of feminine protection you used - pads, tampons, menstrual cup? Do you still use the same feminine protection, or did you switch completely - when, why?

The best tampons to get.....
Tampons-the pearl tampons are great! The sented ones are the best because sorry I'm not a fan of the smell from my period at all.

Protection
Pads were my first and my fav to this day tampons just felt odd and uncomfortable and until about 1 year ago I still could not wear them comfortable, so I tend to switch back and forth depending on which ones I have.

progression
briefly used pads for less than a year after I got my period and then started using tampons, which were so much better and less messy than pads. For about 10 years now I have been using exclusively the Instead cups because they have up to a 12 hour use. I just wear a pantyliner as back up.

Pads To Tampons, WANTING To Try A Cup
I actually used exclusively pads for the last 12 years. I just recently started using Tampons. I'd tried them off and on and never cared for them until recently. I've come to realize they are SO much cleaner and convenient. I'd like to try a cup, but I haven't had the chance to really do it yet.
