S.H.O.W. without EWCM - ovulation???

This cycle my usual EWCM from CD 11-15 has been absent. Had some thicker, cloudier CM on days 11 & 15 and otherwise it's been watery, clear and increasing over last couple of days (CDs 15-17)

My cervical position, which I've only been monitoring for the 2 cycles, is SHOW (soft, high, open, wet), and has been for the last 48 hrs, around about the time I would usually ovulate.

have I ovulated? Is it possible to ovulate without EWCM when I usually do have EWCM? Or is EWCM on its way - is this cycle just gonna be longer than usual? (I have had cycles of 32 days)

I'm confused!

Any thoughts anyone?

Drastic Cycle Changes

I was so happy to find this site back in 2005 because I use to just guess when my period was comming. In 2005,2006, 2007, my periods always came between day 26 and 28 with an average of a 27 day cycle.

Then in 2008, my cycles would jump from 27 days to 34 days, with an average of a 29 day cycle.

In Feb. 2009 I had a miscarriage and my periods have gone really crazy!

I am 30 yrs old and my cycles since my mc have been in this order 30 days, then 35 days, 28, 26, 35, 31, 37, and today I am waiting for my period to start...it is now day 32! Also my PMS has gotten worse. The days leading up to my period, I stay in bed pretty much all day, my husband and kids know that I will be "out of it" for a few days each month.

I don't use birth control. I should probably go to a doctor but I don't have insurance and even when I did, I always tried to avoid the gyno.

Has anyone else had periods that are this unpredictable?

OPK Troubles!!

I have been off the bc pill since August 15th. My first cycle lasted 32 days,the next 2 cycles were each 27 days long. This last cycle I started using OPKs...started testing on CD7, and received a positive on CD 12,13,14,15,16,17...so far 6 days of positive tests!! My periods seem regular now, normal bleeding, and all tests were def positive...started out way darker than control line, maybe a bit lighter the last few days. I have no idea what this could mean, bad or good, just very confused!

What is considered the first day of AF?

I have heard two different stories now: 1. The first day of spotting if the spotting is red and not brown is considered the first day of AF and 2. The first day of regular, red flow. I spotted for almost four days before my first day of flow at the beginning of my current cycle but my first day was heavy and it is usually light. My mom said her dr told her to count the first day of spotting as AF another site said the first day of regular flow is AF. Now I am confused....Does anyone know which is right?

The Shorter Cycle???

My periods once normal, coming every 28 days are now down to a average of 26 days. It seems as if I am either having a period or ovulating. My problem is I am tracking my cycles to prevent pregnancy, so I am scared every month that I could have ovulated early and now be pregnant. I just turned 31. Does anyone know of reasons why your cycle suddenly becomes so irregular. I am not on the pill or any other form of bc. Have not changed exercise patterns.

I will include that I have been having severe pains in my right pelvic area. Any info would me appreciated.
