Conception Frustrations?

If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

Semen Viscosity, is that an issue?

My husband and I have been TTC for 10 months now. We have both been tested and we're okay, the only thing that was mentioned about his semen analysis is that his semen is thicker than usual. Does anyone know if this would affect our ability to conceive. I'm really trying to relax and he's not even thinking about it, he figures it will happen whenever it's supposed to. I haven't told him how I have been feeling, but every month there is that hope that maybe this would be the month and then I end up being disappointed but I don't show it.

If anyone knows if the viscosity of the semen has anything to do with our inability to conceive please let me know.

almost there!?

I understand EXACTLY, how ur feeling. TTC since July 2006. Got pregnant June 2007 and had D&C August 2007. Worst experience EVER. Since September 2007 EVERY SINGLE DAY I see someone pregnant and its frustrating because I'm waiting. Well, hopefully the wait for TTC is over, but now a new wait has started (waiting to take pregnancy test) unbelieveable. Just 8 more days.

HOPE

Hey there ladies,

My partner and I have been trying for 10 months and its the same feeling each month. Period comes and goes, then I can be late 3 days buy a test then my period will come. I have done the "is it me stuff". Asked the doctor for advice and he said there is no reason that a young healthly women like yourself cant fall pregnant. I am 33 and my partner is 38, so we are still trying and now i dont get worked up anymore, but ofcourse it is always at the back of my mind, "Could I be this month"???
My good friend has just had a baby girl and ofcourse you feel so happy, but you cant help but think when will my partner and I have our bundle of joy? Life is a funny thing, people say to me all the time "It will happened when you least expect it". I often wonder of this true?

I wish all you ladies the best of luck and may the baby stork will visit soon.

Trying to remain positive, and hoping...

DITTO ALL THE WAY LADIES!! I am 27 been married for 2 years in March, myself and my husband have been trying for 1 year now and so far not ungone any tests, but are trying everything we can naturally. I have to say I have got to the point where I only have expectations at the back on my mind every month, not as built up as they used to be. My period coming every month is no longer such a surprise. We conceived in March/April, but days after finding out miscarried sadly, typical!
Like ervyone else family and friends seem to have no issue getting pregnant (whicb I am pleased for them about as this is soo hard!), but at the same time I feel left out, why not us?
So I will remain sat at the side lines, watching and waiting for our turn to arrive, knowing we want it more than anything else right now, and when it does come... be so overjoyed!
Hang in there ladies, we have all earnt this, and those little babies will be loved more than anything in the world!
baby dust and as much positive vibes that I can muster.

I dont know what to do

My husband and I have been together for 7 years now and married for 4 I am 22 and he 28. We stopped all forms of bc the day of our marriage. I was on the DEPO Shot for a year. But after suffering endometriosis and a 22 day period I promptly switch to an oral bc. for 2 years. at 16 I conceived by him...my mother promptly gave me no option but abortion. Now I am finding it impossible to conceive...I am dreading to go see a Doc about this is fear he may tell me that I am unable to bear a child. My husband says it will happen...but still I dread it. It would crush me to find that I cannot conceive. It would crush the hubby if it were him! How do I deal with this when noone seems to understand the pain that I have?
