Menarche Ceremony
Did you have a menarche (first period) ceremony? What was it like? Who was there? What gifts did you get? If you have a daughter, will you (or did you) give her a menarche ceremony?

No I didn't have anything at all. I wish my mom would have done a little something just me and her. It was such nervous and exciting time that it would have been nice to know my mom was proud or something or even sad because I was a women now. I hopefully will do something nice for my daughter if I ever have a daughter. I think it makes the transition easier and makes you closer to your child. I don't think I would do anything if my daughter doesn't want me to, it would have to be something we would both like, I mean it is about her
