TTC - To Say or Say Not?
While Trying to Conceive, have you found others (even people you barely know) asking prying questions or offering unsolicited advice? Do you think they mean well and just don't think, or are they being meddling and/or on the rude side? Do you respond, ignore it, brew over it all night...?
Don't say it.

I made the huge mistake of telling people we were trying when it seemed like everyone around us was getting pregnant at the drop of the hat. This seemed to open up peoples willingness to them assume they could speak of other things in relation to my fertility. As in, we have been trying for 2 years now with no results, at one point I had an ovarian cyst. Just one, and a co-worker I hardly know got wind of it from one of the 2 people I told and was telling EVERYONE in the office, Oh she's full of cysts, and she's infertile, I guess they'll have to adopt. She's a huge gossip. I just emailed her and said I had 1 cyst, not multiple cysts and no I am not infertile. I have then had to just tell people we decided to wait on having kids because it became an almost daily, when are you guys going to have kids, when are you going to get pregnant. Aren't you ready? I would suggest not telling ANYONE unless you are close to them, because the added pressure if you don't get pregnant right away is murder.
