Embarrassing Mentrual Situation

I guess this is embarrassing for a 7th grader. I was always a little overweight. I had lost some weight and was thrilled one morning when I fit into my older sister's jeans. They were my favorites! She hated me borrowing her clothes cause I was always the messy one..lol. Well, I put them on just before CCD, and was so thrilled I showed my mom and couldn't wait to wear them all day! Unknowing this would be the day of my very first period.. JUST before we left for Sunday School. So, I came out of the bathroom and told my mom I guess I wont be wearing them after all, since I had leaked in them .. the embarrassing part was how excited she was, and at the dinner table used these exact words to my father.. "Your daughter became a woman today!" I was mortified..lol. Doesn't sound that embarrassing, but for a 12 year old in front of Dad! eek!!!
