Stay at Home MOM

I am a SAHM. I have an 8 year old daughter and worked off and on. She hates it when I work. I also have a 7 year old step daughter. I honestly would hate trying to juggle a job, cooking, cleaning, and the kids. There is not enough time in the day. They often need help with homework. I've been in their classes on special days where parents are invited and saw children crying because their parents couldn't make it due to work. I also enjoy volunteering at the school, allowing me to be more involved with them and really knowing what is going on in there life. The older they get the less they want to do with you, so get as close as you can and enjoy it while it last! I know their friends, boyfriends ;), and people they "don't like". I can talk with them knowledgeably about their day. I don't have to stress about getting things done in the evening nor weekends. I spend that time with my family. We have rules and schedules, everyone knows and goes by. I honestly couldn't handle working too! Not to mention my kids would complain!
