Very Short Period?

Help! My period was due Dec. 18. It came Dec. 17 with a normal blood flow. But then, the following day, it quickly "tapered off" like it does towards the end of my period. I had a little spotting, but barely enough to mark my pad. That's it. So I had less than 36 hours of actual bleeding, then nothing. The big question is, am I pregnant? Or could this all be just stress?
