First Period on Trip with Dad

My Dad is a truck driver and on summers off from school I went on trips with him.

The summer I turned 13, I was on a trip with my Dad and woke up from a nap to see that the sheets on the bunk, my pyjamas, and the blankets were covered in blood.

I tried to hide it but when we called my Mom from the road that night I had to ask her what to do because I wasn't prepared.

It made the rest of the trip REALLY uncomfortable.
