Pregnant or Not?!?!?!

I am starting to get really upset with TTC! Me and my hubby have been TTC for about 10 months now. I thought I was pregnant this month for sure because I was 3 days late, and last night I was awake from 11:00P.M. to 3:30 a.m. with my head on the toilet vomiting. I have been really tired lately, then today around lunch time I started my period. It is very light, but i do have cramps. Could this not be my period, should i take a test? I am really let down!
