Embarrasing Menstrual Situation
Ever had a really embarrassing period experience? Did you tell anyone? What advice could you give others so it doesn't happen to them?

Leaky pad = guy drama

Posted by: xstarx on Fri Oct 30, 2009
I had just started dating this guy that I'd had a crush on for almost 15 years and we were laying on his bed (no funny business, just laying there). I didn't use tampons at the time, and when this incident occurred, I'd had to buy cheap pads because the store was out of my preferred brand.

After about 30 minutes I felt like my pad was leaking. I jumped up and ran to the bathroom. When I got in there, I had a huge spot on my jeans. I calmly explained that I needed to go home and after seeing the spot on my jeans, the guy understood why.

Surprisingly enough, he called me the next day. I asked if his sheets were stained and he said they were but not badly. The next time I was over, I checked for myself and he had about a 2 inch circular stain on his sheets and that was after he'd washed them, luckily he had a mattress protector on the bed. If he hadn't been so understanding about it, I believe I would have died of embarrassment.

The moral of the story is never buy cheap pads!
