Ever had a really
embarrassing period experience? Did you tell anyone? What advice
could you give others so it doesn't happen to them?

I would have to say that my most embarrasing experience as an adult would have to have been in April of 2006. We were in Hawaii on a trip for my husbands company. We were at a dinner with his colleagues. i had been sitting for awhile and as soon as I stood up I could feel the "waterfall". I made it to the bathroom thinking I was in time and realized that I had a huge red spot on my underwear right on my bottom. So, I waited a bit and was kinda unsure of how to handle it. My blouse wasnt long enough to cover, but I was in black pants so it was hard to tell anything was there. I came out and my husband was waiting for me. He said he had a feeling that I was having issues. I was afraid that I had spotted the cushion in the chair, as it was a creme color. I was sooo glad that hadnt. Luckily my husband taking pity on me, ended the night and we excused ourself with the excuse that we were exhausted and returned to our hotel. Whew! I was so sure people would see. If anyone noticed that didn't say anything. It was embarassing to tell my husband, but he said, "Accidents happen. Don't worry about it." I learned that when I am on my period to make sure I don't sit for as long as I did. I now keep extra underwear in my purse the first few days of my period when I am flowing the heaviest.
