TTC for 9 months- 2 Days Late! Pregnant!

Posted by: Oliva1 on Tue Oct 12, 2010
Hi Ladies,

Well after 9 months of TTC I am finally pregnant. We weren't really trying but I came off BC in January. I didn't temp but tried to use the ovulation calendar. Having gone off the injection BC I became very irregular, periods ranging from 27-32dys cycle.

Every month I thought I was pregnant, looking for signs was driving me crazy. From metallic taste in mouth, nausea, fatigue, sore breasts etc...

Well I got a period on 26th August, 2 weeks later I got another period September 10th. Since I have irregular periods I usually use the start of my last period as tentative date for next cycle, in this case the 10th October would be my next cycle.

A week ago I started having lower abdominal cramps. The entire day I would have cramps on and off. Felt like when period is about to arrive. I had to leave work one of the days because the pain felt so uncomfortable only laying in bed helped. Then on Monday I woke up and felt like puking and did! (i thought it was from me having a couple of drinks the night before). I had tingly breasts and the past couple of days my areolas have grown huger and wider and the montgomery glands have become more visible as well as my nipples being erect all day.

Today after having been late 2 days and still having occasional cramps (less than before) i decided to take a test at 2 p.m. Just as the pee touched the stick the 2 lines appeared. I'm thrilled! Can't wait to have my first Dr.'s check up.

Good luck to you ladies!!!
