Could I be pregnant?
Are you late or are you in the two-week-wait? Have you taken a pregnancy test? Any signs of pregnancy, or that AF is on the way?

Do you think its possible?

I have been using this site to track my periods the last two years. I have never posted until now hoping you may have some words of wisdom. I am 40 years old and my 2 kids are grown :) so it has been a LONG time since I was pregnant.

My last "normal" period was Nov 7 and it lasted the usual 5 days. My cycle average is 27 days. I had some light pink spotting on CD 24 and 25(only on toilet tissue) then I had a little heavier spotting (not actual flow) on Dec 2 and 3 and then back to pink on tissue. (nothing on any of those days required pads or tampons) I was due to start my period on Dec 4. A week after the spotting i started getting bouts of nausea and dizziness and headaches. My boyfriend suspected I was pregnant, I didn't think so (we bd on Nov 13, 15, 27) I took four HPT (1 walgreens digital BFP and three FRER BFNs) around Dec 15. According to my calendar I shoud have started on Dec 29. However, here I am on New Years Eve and AF is not keeping me company...lol

The only symptoms I have had the last few days have been a few cramps that actually feel more like ovulation cramps than menstrual cramps. Breasts are a little sore and nipples enlarged, fatigue, heartburn. The nausea hits every now and then.

I am sorry this is so long. Do you think I could actually be pregnant? HPTs are expensive and I just don't know what kind to trust. I got BFP on the digital but i researched internet and that brand has history of false results which is why I tried the FRER. I don't want to waste time and money at dr's office. How long should I wait to test again? Could the change in my cycle be a sign of aging? Last obgyn visit, the dr said I am still reproductively sound...lol

Thanks for your help. Also, can you suggest a RELIABLE HPT? I have googled my eyes out on that. I bought a dollar store test and have been waiting two weeks to take it...thinking AF would surely show up and it wouldn't be necessary.
