So Long Period Stains
Who hasn't had a period stain or two along the way? From undies to fav jeans, period stains can be a royal pain. But happily they're often non-fatal and can be mostly/completley removed.
What period stain removal strategies have you tried and what works best for you?

Shizzam....its gone!
salt with an anti bacterial soap in cold water...(warm or hot will make it set more) get wet lather and fold crotch part in half and scrub against each other then rinse in cold and keep scrubbing until all gone or almost not noticeable then ring out and spray shout in the same spot let set until laundry time and shizam....its gone....

So Long Period Stains
The old fashion way!
Well. I usually don't soak through my clothing. But I generally wear only white cotton panties when I am on my period. So, if I do mess them up. I can easily apply some bleach. So what I do is this. If it's a little leak, I don't do anything. Just put them in a pail. If it's big soak through well I wash them out by hand. But at the end of my period. I soak all of them in the pail with some bleach and detergent. Then I hand clean them one by one to remove the stain. But, then I put them in the washer. Works like a charm. It's just a timely process. All my whites dont have any stains in them. But, also, I wear the Maxi pads with the wings. This helps with the leakage. Oh, I told my sister this story and she said to use peroxide because it oxidizes the stain by bubbling it up and lifting the color. I havent tried it! But she states my grandmother told her and it works.

If you leak
A good thing to do is keep a tide to go with you - they work great for period stains.

Oxy Clean works for me.
For Stains I have found that if you immediately put the new Oxy Clean spray on them and put them in the washer after about a 30 minute soak with the spray, they come out of the wash as good as new. I keep a bottle in my laundry room for just this reason, but it is good for other stains as well, mostly organic stains but it is still good stuff.
