At what point did you select the name that you actually gave your baby? Before you were pregnant, during pregnancy, after delivery?

Picking baby names, when?
With my daughter who was my first baby, I decided while I was pregnant at about 5 months. So as soon as I knew she was a girl. I was sitting down talking to my mom and her name came to me. Makayla! It was perfect to me and felt right. With my son, my second I knew if he was a boy I would name him after my brother Joey who passed away. As soon as we knew he was a boy we said he would be named Joey.

decided while waiting...
during pregnancy on both of my kids but when my last one was born i had to change the name - wrong sex for the name i picked. So always have two names just in case and two sets of clothes.

When I picked out the names for my children..
With my first pregnancy I had a girl name picked out but no boy name. I didn't know what I was going to have until the day he was born. The name I had chosen was Shawnda LeAnn, but since he was a boy I shortened it to Shawn Lee. My second child was a girl and I had her name picked out as soon as I found out she was a girl. My husband and I have been trying for the past four months for our third baby and I already have a boy and girl name picked out.

When Did We Decide Baby Names?
My husband and I decided if baby was boy, I would name him, and if baby was a girl, he would name her. After birth. We believe we needed to see the baby first to make sure the name is right for him/her. We had a little girl and he did name her. My husband picked out our daughters' name on sight in the delivery room.

My daughters Annabelle decided at 8.5mo pregnant
It took me a while to decide on a name for my daughter. We had decided on Isabella when we found out she was a girl.. but at 8.5 months pregnant while at dinner with my grandmother she said, "Isabella is overpopular.. have you thought of using Annabelle? It's your great grandmothers name." I knew the moment I heard it that it was the most perfect name in the world for my little girl, Annabelle it was.

ALWAYS HAVE A NAME READY
I AM A BABY NAME JUNKIE. I ALWAYS HAVE NAMES PICKED OUT. I HAVE FOUR CHILDREN, AND AFTER YEARS OF SAYING THAT WE WERE DONE, WE JUST BEGAN TRYING TO CONCIEVE AGAIN...AND YEP, GOT THOSE NAMES PICKED OUT ALREADY....HMM, MAYBE I SHOULD COME UP FOR NAMES FOR TWINS, THEY DO SAY THERE IS A HIGHER CHANCE OF TWINS AFTER 30~
