Can't conceive....never getting my period!!!!

I have come off the pill in April 2010...ever since then I have had a period every 45 or more days. I have one, one month and miss it the next. We are ttc and this is very frustrating as I am not sure if I am even ovulating??? My doctor won't do anything until it has been a full year...because I am only 32...anyone else have this problem? And will my period ever be normal? My sister has PCOS and I am afraid that could bee what I have inherited too......

19 day cycle! Noooo!

Like another poster on here, I have been experiencing duplicate periods! I had two in November, and two in December. I am mostly vegan, but I have really tried to reduce my intake of soy to a bare minimum because I know that it can mess with my hormones. I wonder what else can make a a person's cycle become shortened? Currently I have a cycle of only 19 days! This is no good, since I just started seeing someone new and we have become sexually active. I am not trying to get pregnant, in fact he has had a vasectomy so it is near impossible. I have thought about going on birth control to extend my cycle but I am wary of taking hormones. I have a chronic illness and I am already on medications for that and trying to keep those at a minimum as it is. Any comments, ideas, help? Sympathy and hugs would be fine too! :D

Ovulation Bleeding?

I just have a question for the girls that know anything about ovulation bleeding. I am suspecting that I have one...

Last June I began having two periods a month, sometimes only once a month. I was thrown off and thought it was due to traveling abroad and a gallbladder surgery that I had two weeks before my travel. However, it's been seven months, but I am still getting these weird periods. So I started to measure my BBT, and looked over all of my cycles since June. What I found out was that my BBT raised during one of my periods, and stayed higher till it fell down again before the next period. My periods also are normal one time, and the next time I can just get by with everyday pads, because the flow is very light, almost spotting for the most part.

I guess I could "diagnose" myself with ovulation spotting, but from what I read it says that usually ovulation spotting occurs for a day or two and has pinkish color. Well, mine lasts about 4-5 days, and has all kinds of colors: pinkish, brownish, and scarlet red (sorry, TMI).

If anyone has ever experienced something like this, please, share your story. I just hope it's not going to affect my TTC. I have visited a nurse before I started my own investigation, and she said I was okay. I will keep measuring my BBT, and after two more cycles I will visit another OB/GYN.

Thank you, lots of baby dust and Merry Christmas! May your baby wishes come true, girls!

Could i be prego?

I am not suppose to start my cycle for another 3-4 days... I just started spotting pink today. I'm having cramps and my breast are tingling like crazy and have been for a few days. Could i be prego? I had a m/c in October and it was very devastating to me. I had a regular cycle in November right on schedule so I'm wondering if I may have a second chance at having a baby.

two periods in one month!!!

Hi Ladies!!!

I'm so confused.. I had a period that started late october and ended in early November. And based on the chart on here I was not to get a period until late December. But to my surprise I started spotting the 28th of Nov and today it's a lil heavier than before. I'm not sure what to think at this point but my cycle is usually 37 days and this is extremely EARLY!!! What do you think?

to take a test, or not to a take a test?

So after I had my daughter I went on BC and didn't get my period for about a year. Once she was a year I went off BC and since then (about 7 months we have been ttc again) I have been extremely irregular. Last month there was practically nothing for a week, then when it was supposed to stop it got really heavy for five days. This time around I have only had a drop of red then very light brown for a couple days. Has anyone had this problem? How long does it generally take to regulate?
