First Period Experience
Where were you when your first period started? How old were you? Did you talk to your mom, friends? What was your initial reaction? Retrospectively, could it have been different or more positive experience, and, if so, how?

Foreign first period.

Okay, so,I have a pretty amusing first period story.

I was 10, and had JUST gotten my tonsils removed, so I was in pain already, and out of it on vicodin.

My dad had to go back to work and I was in his home state instead of with my mother, which is where I would have preferred to be, but alas, I had to stay at my step mother's parents' house...They don't speak English.

I hobbled myself to the bathroom and and that's when I noticed when I wiped it was light pink. I was really confused, but thankfully already knew about periods, so I used some wrapped up toilet paper.

I was there for three days not being able to speak in a foreign house on narcotics with my first period. D:
