First Period Experience
Where were you when your first period started? How old were you? Did you talk to your mom, friends? What was your initial reaction? Retrospectively, could it have been different or more positive experience, and, if so, how?

I was 12 when i got my first period and oh my gosh i thought i was about to die. i was riding my bike all day so i thought i had injured myself but it wasn't so bad if i lay down so i lay down all the time i could for 2 days till my mum realised what was going on. point to story please all parents talk to your daughters so they dont go through the same experiences i'm reading about here 20 years on it still haunt's me that we were all so ill informed about a natural and inevertable thing. rant over.
