Ibuprophin and plenty of it. It's cheaper than Midol and (for me) just as effective. Especially when I buy it in the humungus size at Sam's. I have giant bottles of it in the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms and less giant bottles in my desk at work and in my purse. I don't exactly eat them like candy, I eat plenty of that during my period anyway, but I'll take 3 200mg tabs every few hours. It helps a lot.
