What's your solution for menstrual cramps?

Up until about 3 months ago, when I would get cramps, I took Ibuprofen. However, it only worked if I took as soon as I got cramps and then I would have to use a heating pad to help them more. Then, recently, I found out about pamprin. What a change! Even when I can't take it the minute my cramps start, it still helps them go away. Ever since I started taking it, I haven't had to use a heating pad once.
