Relief I Found for PMS
I use to have terrible PMS which, isn't great, when you are dealing with children and the fact that you homeschool them also. So I found great little remedy, that really helps me. About 10 to 14 days before my period, I start taking 1 calcuim tablet and 1 zinc tablet. It really works wonder with the mood swings and just turned me into a better mother during those days.

Response to dealing with prementrual syndrome
I've noticed over the last 4 years, I experience terrible mood swings that are very disruptive, acne under the skin (never erupts), and just plain ol' irrtable. I don't know why I act a certain way until my period actually starts, then it's like a light bulb went off to say, that's why you are acting crazy; my period!
By the time I realize I've been acting like a fool, my period starts then those symptoms are gone. Go figure. I know it's hormonal simply because I haven't been on any type of contraception for the last 6 yrs. I mostly think about my response/reaction to things and think about calmly.

Dealing wth Premenstrual Syndrome
Worse than PMS
I always seemed to suffer somewhat from pms, but after my daughter was born, and after i stopped breast feeding, it got so much worse. I was an emotional wreck, crying at the mere thought of something bad. My husband threatened me with divorce once or twice, and instead of having regular ol' mood swings, I was becoming violent, and I was always tired. So I went to my doctor. Turns out I suffer from PMDD. It's becoming more common, and doctors are finally starting to recognize it as an actual problem. He put me on yaz, and an antidepressant, which I only take for the two weeks before I'm supposed to get my period. It's been about 6 months, and I can say that things are turning around. I don't cry at the drop of a hat, my husband likes being around me now, and I have more patience for my very active 3 year old.

Get Rid of PMS naturally
PMS and I are no friend and what worse is my boyfriend can barely stand me when i get this way... I start arguing and crying for no reason . And please dont let me sit down and watch the notebook !!! This never sounds like something we want to do when we are PMSing but I go to the Gym and take an Hour kickboxing class and it works wonders !!! Just think you have all this frustration and you get to go kick and hit the crap out of this bag !!! Try it I promise you will walk away from the class in a 100% better mood !!

Weight Gain
I always gain weight during the 2 weeks prior to my period...I have food cravings which doesst help either.. I feel like i gain about 5-10 lbs.. its terrible.. It affects so much of what i do.. working out.. fitting in my clothes.. I would try to fight the feeling so instead i just deal with it and go forward and just get back on my program as soon as i get my period.. what else can I do???
